On the N1 Western Bypass in Johannesburg heading towards the West Rand, take the Maraisburg off-ramp onto Albertina Sisulu Rd. Drive East towards Johannesburg for roughly 1.8 km.
The cemetery is bisected by the road. The military graves are in the Northern (left) half of the cemetery. The office is in the Southern half. Follow the internal road for roughly 70 metres. The two rows of graves are on the right-hand side.
The cemetery is accessible to the public.

Significance
There are 110 Commonwealth burials of the Second World War in the cemetery. 69 were buried in the Military Plot during the War. A further 41 are buried elsewhere in the cemetery and their headstones concentrated here.
