2. NOVEMBER IS REMEMBRANCE MONTH

There are a number of events at schools, churches, and the Cenotaph as per the notice below. The Branch Committee will attempt to be represented at each by a member of the committee, but other attendees are welcome at any or all.

3. REMEMBRANCE DAY

Although official commemorations are usually held on Remembrance Sunday throughout the Commonwealth, remember also the official TWO MINUTE SILENCE on the ELEVENTH HOUR OF THE ELEVENTH MONTH this year on Wednesday 11th November 2026. Easily forgotten in our busy world but, if possible, set a reminder on your watch and pause for just TWO MINUTES to remember the fallen of all wars.

“For our today’s they gave their tomorrows,” WE MUST REMEMBER THEM!
