In addition to the talks delivered at the War Museum, two highly successful battlefield tours were undertaken. The first was a one-day excursion to Bronkhorstspruit on Sunday, 29 August and the second to Isandhlwana, Rorke's Drift and Blood River during the long weekend, 8th to 11th October.
