"THE BRITISH SOUTH AFRICA POLICE", a talk by MR. DOUG GRIERSON on the history of the then Rhodesian Police Force, the Regimental Association of which celebrates its centenary this year. A collection of various badges and insignia will also be displayed.
Mr. Grierson will be remembered for his interesting contribution as a member of the panel representing the military, police and the civil side, which dealt with the Rhodesian past UDI period at a meeting held towards the end of 1988.
THURSDAY 13TH JULY. "SOUTH AFRICAN NAVAL PERSONNEL SECONDED TO THE ROYAL NAVY DURING WORLD WAR TWO", an illustrated talk by COMMANDER W. Mc. E. BISSET, SAN, a subject which he has recently been researching.
THE TALK WILL BE PRECEEDED BY A SPECIAL GENERAL MEETING TO ADOPT THE STATEMENT OF ACCOUNTS FOR THE PERIOD 1ST JANUARY TO 31ST DECEMBER 1988.

Grobbelaar, dealing with the Dutch occupation of the Cape between 1700 to 1795.
