Dr Vickey Heunis from the Museum of the Boer Republics in Bloemfontein will talk about Art from the Anglo-Boer War POWs held on the island of Bermuda.

Monday 13th June 2022 meeting

Jaco Pretorius is to speak on the Jameson Raid: a cowboy connection.

All you need is a computer, OR A CELLPHONE, and a data connection and you can become part of the meetings. You will need to contact the Society to be added to the invite list and then you are all fitted out. You then click on the link in the invitation just before the meeting starts and it will hook you up to join the meetings.

A beneficial side-effect of becoming Zoominati is that with your new-found knowledge and experience, you can start Zooming with friends and family all over the world using the same facilities.

The Commonwealth War Graves Commission has organised a competition for architectural submissions for a suitable memorial for the non-white members of the SA Forces who died in the World Wars and have as yet not been commemorated publically details of the competition from https://cwgcmemorialcompetition.co.za/
