THURSDAY 8TH NOVEMBER: DOCUMENTARY FILM SHOW:- (A) The American invasion of the Bay of Pigs in Cuba during the John Kennedy Presidency; (b) The story of Doctor Norman Bethune, a Canadian, who during the Spanish Civil War
pioneered the world's first mobile blood transfusion service, and whose work
behind the battle lines in China during the Sino-Japanese War made him a legend.
